Terms of Service
1. What FreightQuoter is
FreightQuoter is a beta tool that helps freight forwarders and NVOCCs organize their own rate sheets, draft quotes from those rates and screen sold rows for pricing problems. It is provided for informational and operational use only.
2. What FreightQuoter is not
FreightQuoter is not a carrier, freight forwarder, customs broker or licensed service provider. It does not make bookings, issue bills of lading, conclude contracts, or provide legal, financial, customs, sanctions, tax or regulatory advice.
3. Your responsibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of the rates and data you import and for every quote you send to a customer. Before relying on or sending any output, you must independently verify rates, validity, space, equipment, incoterms, charges, taxes, duties, restrictions and all other commercial terms with the relevant carrier or party.
4. Beta, provided as-is
FreightQuoter is in beta and is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness or uninterrupted availability. Output may contain errors. Beta features and this beta service may change or stop at any time without notice.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator and its suppliers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, data or opportunity, arising from your use of or reliance on FreightQuoter. The service is currently free; if you are dissatisfied with any part of it, your sole remedy is to stop using it and delete your account and data.
6. Your data
You keep ownership of the data you enter. We use it only to run the service, we do not sell it, and you can delete your account and data at any time from the dashboard. See the Privacy Policy for details.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use FreightQuoter to break any law, to upload unlawful, infringing or confidential data you are not authorized to use, or to interfere with the service. We may suspend or delete accounts that misuse the service.
8. Changes and termination
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. Either you or the operator may end the beta relationship at any time by deleting the account or closing the service.
9. Contact
Use the "Delete my data" page in your dashboard for data requests. A public support contact will be added before the service opens to paying customers.
